Foreigners are not excluded, but the announcement attaches requirements โ residency, a Korean entity, a visa status or a partner. Read the conditions before you spend time on this.
Open to pre-founders (who have signed an MOU with the 2026 Pre-Startup Package or 2026 Re-Challenge Success Package) and startups with a company age of up to 7 years (up to 10 years for businesses in designated new-industry sectors such as AI, big data, biotech, etc.). Excluded: delinquent taxpayers, debt-defaulters, businesses in restricted industries (e.g., adult entertainment, gambling, certain crypto-asset businesses), and other disqualification criteria listed in the announcement.
