Foreigners are not excluded, but the announcement attaches requirements — residency, a Korean entity, a visa status or a partner. Read the conditions before you spend time on this.
Open to any Korean citizen with an innovative idea. For the General/Technology Track, applicants must be pre-founders (not yet incorporated) or startup companies within 3 years of establishment (company age ≤ 3 years). Only one track type (General/Technology or Local) can be applied for; simultaneous applications are not allowed.

The program runs in 4 progressive rounds: (1) Idea Review – KRW 2 million in startup activity funds, general-purpose AI solution support (up to KRW 1 million/month), and 1:1 dedicated mentoring matching. (2) Round 1 (Regional Preliminaries) – Up to KRW 10 million in prototype production costs, 1:1 technical mentoring, and 1:1 dedicated mentoring. (3) Round 2 (Regional Audition) – Up to KRW 10 million in prototype production costs, 1:1 senior mentoring, and 1:1 dedicated mentoring. (4) Round 3 (Regional Audition) – Up to KRW 100 million in commercialization funding for the following year, plus 1:1 dedicated mentoring. (5) Round 4 (National Audition) – Final winners receive up to KRW 500 million in prize money plus up to approximately KRW 500 million in investment.
