OASIS class schedule

There is no official central schedule for OASIS classes โ€” operators are re-designated periodically and each posts its own dates. The rounds below are scraped from the Global Startup Center only; the other six operators listed further down publish separately, so check them directly too.

Official sources: Global Start-up Immigration Center (oasisvisa.com) for the points matrix and document lists, and the Global Startup Center for round dates.

How OASIS leads to the D-8-4 visa

  1. 1Earn OASIS points. Complete OASIS courses, mentoring, incubation or IP items to accumulate points. At least one prerequisite item is required alongside them.
  2. 2D-10-2 (Start-up prep). Use your OASIS record to get the start-up preparation visa and build your venture.
  3. 3D-8-4 (Start-up visa). Reach 60+ points with at least one prerequisite item, and establish your Korean corporation.

Estimate your OASIS points โ†’

Every OASIS program

The D-8-4 points route needs 60+ points and at least one prerequisite item (registered or pending IP, a co-inventor credit, qualifying investment, three years on an E-1 / E-3 visa, or OASIS-6 / OASIS-9). IP-derived points are capped at 60 in total, so a registered patent and a registered design together count 60, not 90. Values follow the Global Start-up Immigration Center's published matrix; confirm with an operator before applying.

Global Startup Center โ€” the government hub for foreign founders

Run by KISED under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the GSC is the single government-backed centre built specifically for founders coming to Korea from abroad โ€” and the only OASIS operator whose round schedule is published in English, which is why the rounds above come from it. Its remit is wider than OASIS alone.

  • Visa & immigration โ€” OASIS courses toward D-8-4 points, the Startup Korea Special Visa route, and 1:1 sessions with immigration and corporate lawyers.
  • Workspace โ€” Free co-working desks and bookable meeting rooms, plus offices for global founders inside TIPS Town.
  • Commercialization support โ€” Government-funded PoC opportunities and market testbeds for tech companies entering Korea.
  • Office hours โ€” 1:1 matching with VCs, tax accountants, patent attorneys and corporate lawyers.
  • Founder community โ€” Networking events and pitch sessions across the local and international founder base.
  • Talent recommendation โ€” Government recommendation toward special naturalization and extended residency for high-impact founders.

Who delivers OASIS

Seven organisations are designated to run OASIS programmes, and none of them runs all ten courses โ€” so which course you need decides where you apply. Each publishes its own schedule; there is no central calendar. Operator list checked 2026-08-01; verify before applying.
