The capital's centre is the one most foreign founders find first, and the one most often described from memory rather than from the record. Two details in KISED's dataset contradict the usual account.
The first is the address: Yongsan, on 한강대로. The second is the second focus field.

KISED gives Seoul two fields. One is D.N.A — Digital, Network, AI — which is what you would guess.
The other is 인구테크, population tech: products built around demographic change. Ageing, care, household formation, workforce shrinkage.
No other centre in the nineteen names it. If your company sits in that space, Seoul is not one of several options; it is the option, and the field is printed rather than inferred.

Why the address error keeps happening
Gwanghwamun is where foreigners picture Korean government sitting, so centres get placed there in English writing by default. The Seoul Global Center is in Jongno; this one is not.
Getting it wrong costs an afternoon if you travel to the wrong district for a walk-in.
