TIPS operators
A TIPS operator is a private investor โ an accelerator, VC, technology holding company, CCEI or corporate VC โ that Korea's TIPS programme has designated to invest in early-stage tech startups first. Once an operator invests, it recommends the startup for TIPS R&D support; the government does not select startups directly. Applications go to the operator, not to a government office.
